THE SHEPHERDS
Near the village of Bethlehem
Shepherds guided the little lambs
Meant for temple sacrifice
Into that world came Jesus Christ
Silent night so hushed in wonder
Tender born lambs wrapped in slumber
Suddenly into the dark night
Radiance filled the sky with light
Angels through the glory appeared
Bringing a message loud and clear
"I bring you good news that will bring joy to all people
The Savior - yes, the Messiah the Lord
Has been born today in Bethlehem,
The city of David!"
