I have more questions than answers
I am just the story teller

"The picture in the Toronto Star showed a young girl diving from a swimming pool.
It was 1950 and Miss Julie at the orphanage proudly handed the newspaper clipping to me.
I looked at it in delight and then felt a stab of disappointment and sadness
"A young 'Ward' is enjoying the new pool at the orphanage."
"But," I said "My name is 'June'.
That day I knew that 'June' was lost and my new permanent name was 'Ward'.

What's in a name?
Children given a name
Full of stigma
Full of pain
On their broken hearts
A name was branded
The name was
'Abandoned'
However
When they were buried
In the ground
Jesus heard their cries
He heard their sounds
Out of the darkness of the night
Precious jewels shining bright
Never hidden from His sight
Jewels in His hand a crown
Never lost
Forever found

"You will be given a new name by the Lord's own mouth, The Lord will hold you in His hand for all to see - a splendid crown in the hand of God
Never again you will be called
'The Forsaken City" or
"The Desolate Land
Your new name will be
"The City of God's Delight"
And
"The Bride of God"
And the Lord delights in you
And will claim you as His bride." Isaiah 62: 2-4

Like the stars in the morning
His bright crown adorning
They will shine in their beauty
Bright gems for His crown
Little children, little children
O love their Redeemer
All the jewels, precious jewels
His loved and His own
Like the stars of the morning
His bright crown adorning
They will shine in their beauty
Bright gems for His crown /William Cushing
