THE HOLY PLACE
Oh Mighty King, You gave your crown
From realms of glory You came down
You opened up the Holy Place
Where we can come and seek your face
You raised the prayer that broke my heart
"Oh let this cup from me depart"
You bowed your head in sweet release
With your own blood you bought my peace
You drank that cup in agony
And passed the cup of grace to me
Oh sweet and endless is that grace
That brings me to your Holy Place
Now in that place where we can meet
I hear your voice, I hear you speak
You took the cup of wrath for me
So that I may your glory see
The joy of ever knowing you
Your Word alone revealing truth
The blood you shed upon the cross
Has brought me to the throne of God
The tabernacle of your grace
The sanctuary of your place
Where I can come through God the Son
For with His blood my soul is won
Oh Mighty King you gave your crown
From realms of glory you came down
To save your own and from your throne
We find our home in You alone
-(J.Smith, 2026)
"With His own blood He entered the most Holy Place
for all time and secured our redemption forever."
-Hebrews 9:12
