CAN YOU COMMAND THE MORNING TO APPEAR?

-image by my son Ron -Algonquin Park

"Have you ever commanded the morning to appear

And caused the dawn to rise in the east? /Job 38

Light appears

The earth takes shape

Timeless in wonder

Timeless in space

Earth in its beauty

The Creator makes

Earth is robed in brilliant colors

Made alive in the hand of the Potter

In this vast universe, endless and deep

Still our Creator leads his sheep

Radiant in glory, warm and tender

Jesus Christ in magnificent splendor

Glory in the dawn of creation

Became the author of our salvation

Humbled himself, became a man

Completed salvation's glorious plan

In this vast universe, endless and deep

Still our Creator leads his sheep

The angels in heaven shout for joy

What he has created can not be destroyed

The Potter has pressed his mighty seal

At his command the morning appears

Daylight spreads to the end of the earth

Restoring the world with new birth

In this vast universe, endless and deep

Still our Creator leads his sheep

God of all the universe In your mighty power

Preserves His church In this hour

Opening up channels for torrents of rain

Reviving your church once again

In the winter of sickness and wars

On the wings of your Spirit, your church still soars

The morning stars sing together

We are held with you forever

In this vast universe wide and deep

Still our Creator leads his sheep

Radiant in glory, warm and tender

Jesus Christ in magnificent splendor

Glory in the dawn of creation

Became the author of our salvation

Humbled himself, became a man

Completed salvation's glorious plan

In the middle of pestilence and war

On the wings of His Spirit, we can soar

In this vast universe, wide and deep

Still our Creator, leads his sheep

"Have you ever commanded the morning to appear?

And caused the dawn to rise in the east?

Have you made daylight spread to the ends of the earth?

To bring the end to the night's wickedness

As the light approaches.

The earth takes shape like clay pressed beneath a seal

It is robed in brilliant colors"

(Job 38: 12-14)
