THE POWER OF LOVE
The power of love is not strained
When all is finished love still remains
On the cross where He loved me first
He bore my shame and broke sin's curse
When I surrendered on my knees
Sweet forgiveness came to me
In the garden of endless light
Is the fragrance of Jesus Christ
All my life is a mystery
That God would love a child like me
Such grace, such mercy, undeserved
My Lord Jesus loved me first
My heart was broken I fell down
I had no hope for heaven's crown
I ran from God and lost my faith
When I was finished, grace remained
When love broke through to my cold heart
The fire of love made hate depart
All my demons were cast from me
Now born anew I am set free
The power of love is not strained

Such grace such mercy undeserved
